Story Ideas

Welcome Everyone!

It’s time for another installment of Carol’s Corner.

I hope you’re enjoying the posts as much as I enjoy writing them.

So without further ado, let’s delve into this week’s question.

How many stories, or story ideas, have you written/had outside of Westmore and how important are they for you?

It seems like the only thing I’ve been talking about lately is the Westmore series. You’re probably wondering “Is that the only books she has?”

I can assure you Westmore isn’t the only project I have. In fact, I’ve got tons of book ideas written down in my handy notebook. I have a mix of different genres. Everything from romance to crime to sci-fi.

Today, I’m going to share a few of my ideas with you.

Going Home Again sequel

Originally, I wasn’t planning on writing a second book. But I’ve have had a couple of readers asking if there’s going to be a sequel, which has me tinkering with the idea. The focus of the story would be showing Rachel’s new life in Virginia.

The title to this book may need a little work. But the premise of the story is an actress falls in love with her new leading man on the set of their movie.

A Family Torn

A crime drama about a woman investigating a murder that tore her family apart. As she digs deeper, she discovers new evidence that may prove the innocence of the convicted prisoner.

The Senator’s Son

Senator Dennis Bradley seeks answers following the murder of his son, Eric. With the investigation stalling, Dennis sets out on his own. He soon learns that Eric wrote a expose on police corruption. With this new information, Dennis devises a plan to get justice for his son.

A world renowned doctor has made a career out of debunking the myth UFOs and aliens. But a strange incident followed by nightmares has her questioning her beliefs.

Every idea in my notebook is important to me. Whenever I get a new idea, I’m excited about starting the story.

I love all these ideas, I could see every one of them turned into a book. I’ve had them written for a while and I’m eager to work on them.

Once I finish with some of my current projects, I plan to get started on these ideas. I’m hoping to release one new book every year. So be on the lookout for one of these books hitting the shelves within the next year.

The hardest part is deciding which one to start first.
